Get Involved

There has never been a better time to get involved with the work of the Green Party.

Any help you give us, from a regular donation to work on the doorstep, will make a real difference to getting more Greens elected so we can create a fairer, cleaner, more affordable future for everyone.

Next forum

We hold a regular monthly forum, usually on the last Thursday of the month, in either Melton Mowbray or Oakham. We are a democratic and inclusive group and all attendees have the opportunity to speak and ask questions.

The next forum will be Thursday 28th April starting at 19:30. Held at The Crown Inn, Burton Street, Melton Mowbray.

Our Area

The Rutland & Melton Green Party covers the Rutland and Melton Parliamentary Constituency. The area encompasses the entire county of Rutland, the Borough of Melton in Leicestershire as well as part of Harborough District up to the boundaries of the City of Leicester.

We campaign on local, national and international issues and look to stand candidates in local and general elections.

Stand for Council

We are looking for candidates to stand in a number of seats at parish, borough and county council levels. Come along to a forum and introduce yourself.
We are particularly keen to ensure diversity amongst our candidates.

Candidates must be paid-up members of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
